Ebay would probably be the most obvious.

Ebay has a service called missionfish in which you can specify a percentage of the sale go to charity (up to 100%).

Check the terms of ebay. Also try your local trident united way office they may have some info on that as well. Good luck!

You could sell it on your own via several different avenues (e-bay, Craigslist, yard sale, etc) and give the money to a charity of your choice. You could also advertise that all procedes are going to charity like, “Vera Wang wedding dress $xxx. All procedes are being donated to Habitat for Humanity/ Shriners Childrens’ Hospital/ Warriors in Pink/whatever.”

Don’t be fooled by the lable though. Just because it’s Vera Wang doesn’t mean you’ll get much money for it. It’s used and I’m assuming you had it altered to fit YOUR body. Everyone is built differently and now it isn’t a standard size anymore.

Good luck.

eBay of course. Take MANY detailed photos, post several and mention in the listing you will be happy to send more photos to interested potential bidders. Take every imaginable measurement and describe every detail. It also must be freshly cleaned to sell on eBay. List the original price of the gown. Then, once you have your money, donate it all to the charity of your choice. I know eBay has an option to allow a seller to give a partial amount of their auction/ listing proceeds to charity of their choice, just not certain if you can do 100%, but it should be easy to find out, and if not, as I said, just wait until you get paid from eBay and donate it all to charity.

I have to agree with everyone else. eBay is probably the way to go.

You can try to donate it to a charity with out selling it and just put a value on it ….. or even on try on (e-bay) which if you choose to go on E-bay then you will be able to sell it to the highest bidder and you can make sure that the proceeds go to your choice of charity… well I admire you on your decision for donating to charity … I wish you the best luck …
